About Rep. Julie

Representative Julie Reyes Oda was born and raised on the island of O‘ahu. As a dedicated public servant and passionate advocate, her mission is simple: to ensure that every resident has access to a better quality of life, a thriving economy, and a government that works for them.

Before entering public office, she was a teacher at Nānākuli High and Intermediate on the Wai‘anae Coast, but her first teaching position was in ʻEwa Beach at Campbell High School.

Representative Reyes Oda is committed to advancing legislation that addresses the challenges we face while fostering opportunities for future generations. Whether it’s improving education, advocating for public safety, diversifying our economy, or addressing cost of living, she believes in making informed decisions that reflect our shared values.
